These are the rules of every booking on Wise Up — not aspirations, but how the platform actually works.
Every application is reviewed by our team — experience, specialisms and profile — before it can take a single booking.
We authorise at booking and capture only when your tutor confirms the time. Until then, nothing leaves your account.
If your tutor does not confirm within 6 hours, the hold is released automatically and you are refunded in full.
Full refund up to 12 hours before your lesson. Cancel later than that and we show you the exact amount before you confirm.
Browse every field on Wise Up — most tutors offer a short, discounted trial so you can meet them before you commit.
Set your own rates and hours. List your specialism, get approved, and start taking bookings from people who searched for exactly what you do.
