What can I actually learn here?
The live catalogue — academic and professional practice, career insight, business and finance, technology and AI, creative media, personal development, lifestyle skills, sport, travel and local knowledge, and sign language. Field and specialism counts come from the authored category tree, not a fixed marketing list.
Can I practise a language here?
Spoken-language teaching is not a catalogue field. You can book sign language (HKSL, BSL, ASL), and travel or local-culture lessons for a region. Filter tutors by the languages they speak when that helps you match.
When am I charged?
Your card is authorised when you book and only captured once your tutor confirms the lesson. If they do not confirm within 6 hours, the hold is released automatically and you are charged nothing.
Can I cancel or reschedule?
Yes — reschedule into any open slot, or cancel for a full refund up to 12 hours before your lesson. After that a partial refund applies, and we show you the exact amount before you confirm.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Lessons run in your browser on any device — the classroom opens shortly before your start time.
How do trials work?
Many tutors offer a short, discounted trial so you can meet them before committing — one trial per tutor.
Are tutors checked?
Every tutor application is reviewed and approved by our team before the profile can take bookings.
